Hot fun in the Summertime.....

July's Artist of the Month Reception was a hit last Friday night.  Sherrie Pettigrew and her Pencil/Paint/Paste Show saw many come out in the summer heat to see her unique art.  She was so gracious and a bit shy at so much attention.  Local newspaper, The Alachua Today also came out to interview her and our artists with a story set to come out hopefully tomorrow on Thursday.  We also had great entertainment when Garnette Hathaway's son, Mike Bowman sang for us in the last hour.  Check out Mike's video at
Can't Turn off the Light Video | Mike Bowman the Artist http://mikebowmanmusic.com/  He was really good.
If you couldn't make it that night make sure you stop by the gallery to see Sherrie's unique work, the photos do not due them justice.  They are larger than life and worth seeing in person.  She will be there throughout the month of July.
